If walking or cycling are your passion take a trip to Cape Greko which is just outside of Ayia Napa on the way to Protoras. This is a National Park area where you can enjoy a picnic in beautiful surroundings bordering the coastline. On Public Holidays the locals flock to this area with their families and can be found enjoying BBQs, picnics, and kite-flying.
Cycles are readily available for hire at Ayia Napa or Nissi Beach and a cycle path runs from Ayia Thekla to Ayia Napa passing many small, unspoilt beaches along the way.
If you like walking there is a coastal path from Ayia Napa harbour
along to Ayia Thekla and beyond.

Hire a car and drive along the coast stopping at the numerous secluded beaches on the way. Take a ride to Potomas with its quaint fishing harbour or stop for lunch in the square at Paralimni and visit its impressive church.
Travel inland to see the scenic dams and fishing lakes, or spend a day in Paphos & the Troodos mountains.
Driving is easy with good roads, and clear direction signs.
